Colonial Heritage is a new, 55+ community being developed by Lennar Homes. The golf course was designed by Arthur Hills, and it is has been open for a little more than a year. The course is very interesting... extremely varied terrain... great challenge... and very scenic. Try it out the next time you visit Williamsburg! You can reach the pro shop at: 757-645-2030.
This community has developed rapidly and probably about 35-40% of the homes are now complete. Prices have come down substantially, and some of the very best deals in Williamsburgs can now be found in Colonial Heritage.
Lennar has a very similar community in Gainesville, VA called Heritage Hunt (same style homes, same amenities, even the same golf course designer). So, if you live near this community, you can check out the models there. Both attached and detached home models are available.
All residents are members of the Country Club, and the membership fees are included in the monthly HOA fee (currently about $230). This gives residents access to all of the club amenities and to golf on a fee/play basis. If you play often, you can pay extra for a golf membership that will include green fees. The developer is still taking orders for new homes but does have some inventory homes available. Also, we are now starting to see some resale activity as well, but the best deals now can be negotiated with the developer. Allow us to help you with this!
